The Aims of WHM

The major aims of WHM Australia include:

• raising awareness and providing information on the rich history of women’s contribution to Australia ;
• providing a focus for activities on women’s history through the website and other initiatives across educational and community sectors; and
• encouraging and supporting institutions and organisations to organise local activities during WHM.

These Aims complement those of the Australian Women’s Archive Project.
